Omgsh... I don't know why we haven't tried this place sooner. We pass it weekly!! The food is simply divine! It's almost like there's a little extra love in the flavors! From the appetizers to the desserts.. this restaurant gets a FULL 5 STARS!!! Even the water is refreshing!! The employees are all so kind and patient and have big smiles which is super inviting. A's all around and if your in this area, DEFINITELY check this place out! They even have a downstairs with a fireplace and a small gift shop right outside. I think they even have outaide seating on nicer days. We will be back!
Today my mother and I went to lunch since I had an appointment at the hospital and we were trying to make today as fun as possible despite the appointment… which can be hard to make fun when you have medical issues… but we had the absolute pleasure of having JOSH as our waiter he was awesome! Super attentive and was sweet. Also Was very personable My mom and I have been here several times and Josh was definitely our favorite waiter so far. When we come back we will ask for him again
Great food, great atmosphere in this historic structure. The quality of the meals is great and the prices are great considering that quality. Can’t recommend this place enough! I had the Jameson pork and my fiancé had prime rib. Also had their famous French onion soup.
Historic and gorgeous! Best farm to table style food in the region. Super fresh and delicious. I had the seasonal gnocchi in a foraged mushroom cream sauce with grilled chicken and fresh steamed green beans. As a history buff, it doesn’t get much cooler than this pit stop!
Fantastic historical location! The food is amazing and the cocktails are delicious. The crab and corn chowder was the best soup we have ever had in our lives! Ben is an incredible server,; he took great care of us. There are very friendly goats on location. The gift shop is beautiful featuring locally created wares. Ample parking is available in the lot behind the building.
I absolutely love eating here. I am local and it's one of my favorites if I'm wanting a very nice meal with a charming setting. I absolutely love the bacon wrapped scallops & sweet potato fries. My other favorite is the seafood pasta dish (can't remember the name) but it's amazing and I highly suggest it. Always a good meal and just as amazing service as well.
